How to download JSON files from the GST portal

  2. 2Click on Return Dashboard.
  3. 3Select financial year, quarter and then month. For quarterly GSTR-1, select the last month of the quarter.
  4. 4Click the download button in the GSTR-1 section.
  5. 5Click "Generate JSON file to Download". The JSON file is generated and available for download within about 20 minutes. To download several JSON files at once, use a Chrome extension like TaxTribute GST Assistant or XLSDeal.
